Tiger style shaolin Kung Fu techniques
The Tiger style is marked by its elaborate footwork, dynamic kicks, low and broad stances, and distinctive fist positioning (with the thumb curled in alongside the fingers instead of encircling them). Master Shi Yan Xiu states that this style is the most externally oriented within the Shaolin repertoire. Nevertheless, as students train longer, they will increasingly depend on internal strength alone.
Leopard style martial techniques
The Leopard style emphasizes quickness and angular strikes. Unlike the Tiger, which depends mainly on brute force, the leopard relies on agility and cleverness to outmaneuver its opponent.
A practitioner of the Leopard style will concentrate on using their elbows, knees, low kicks, and Leopard punches to enhance their speed.
Various kicking techniques are also employed, including kicks below the knee. Additionally, there are six fist sets, two stick sets, a single sword, short double swords, and a range of traditional weapons.

Praying mantis style techniques
The Praying Mantis style emphasizes "sticky hands," utilizing the forearms with elbows drawn into the chest. The claw-like fingers and rapid, explosive movements mimic those of a praying mantis getting ready to attack its target.
Snake style martial techniques
The Snake style emphasizes fluid movement. Key elements of this technique include straight punches, butterfly palms, hooks, upper cut, and backfists. A defining characteristic of this form is the thrusting fingers that mimic snake strikes, giving rise to the name "Snake Style".
Various kicking techniques are also employed, including kicks below the knee. Additionally, there are six fist sets, two stick sets, a single sword, short double swords, and a range of traditional weapons.

Eagle style techniques
Eagle style is all about powerful claw grips, raking attacks, and quick takedowns.
It uses hook strikes, grabs, and low trapping kicks, with the signature Eagle Claw for tendon and joint control.
Weapons and forms focus on catching, locking, and tearing fast, fierce, and dominating.
Monkey style martial techniques
Monkey style is considered one of the more acrobatic forms. Its movements frequently involve falling, lunging, grabbing, jumping, and tumbling. The staff is central to weapons training, with practitioners employing it for offense, self-defense, or as a pole to ascend for a height advantage in battle. The vibrant movements and occasionally humorous antics of monkey style contribute to its popularity.
