Shi Yan Peng – China
Shifu Shi Yan Peng is a 34th-generation disciple of the Shaolin Temple and oversees the Shaolin Xiu Culture Centre in China. He established Shenyang Xuan Buo Wu Dao and serves as a National Level 1 coach and referee.
Beginning his training at a young age at the Shaolin Temple, Shifu Yan Peng has won numerous provincial Wushu championships and has represented the temple in performances around the world. He has travelled to countries including the United States, Germany, the United Kingdom, Singapore, Turkey, and many others. He has also participated in Chinese New Year Festival shows organised by Hainan TV, Hubei TV, Henan TV, Hunan TV, and several other broadcasters.
In 2013, he founded Xuan Bo Wu Dao, and his leading students have taken part in various national competitions, achieving remarkable results. Shifu Yan Peng believes that practising martial arts fosters a healthy mind and body, while instilling respect for teachers and traditional martial arts culture.
Currently, he teaches at primary schools, as Shaolin Kung Fu helps children grow within society by promoting good manners, gratitude, and respect for parents and others. As a result, students become more self-assured and independent.
